FOIRP's newly launched business membership scheme is already making a difference, with several Ilkley businesses showing their commitment to preserving and enhancing our cherished riverside parks. New Brook Street Deli, Silverspring Sales and Lettings, Tatty’s Dog Walking & Pet Care, and Ilkley Cycling Club are among the first to sign up — and their contributions are directly funding ongoing improvements.

From repairing and maintaining the many wooden benches dotted through the park to planting vibrant wildflowers, the support of local businesses is helping keep Ilkley’s green spaces beautiful and welcoming for everyone.

"Ilkley’s Riverside Parks are one of the true gems of our town — a place where people come together to relax, play, and enjoy nature. At Silverspring Sales & Lettings, we believe in supporting the spaces that make our community special, which is why we're proud to support the Friends of Ilkley Riverside Parks and help keep it beautiful for everyone."
— James, Silverspring Sales & Lettings

Thanks are also due to Spooner Industries, who recently lent their expertise to the restoration of the memorial plaque in the park — a meaningful gesture that honours the history of the space while contributing to its continued care.
